Arizona Fall Frenzy 2010 Music Festival: Sept. 17-19, 2010
Jul 11, 2010
The Arizona Fall Frenzy Music Festival is coming to the Tempe Beach Park on September 17-19, 2010. Get ready to rock because the lineup of live music is going to be huge!
On Friday, the festival will kick off with the Stone Temple Pilots, Shinedown, The Cult and SevenDust. Then, on Saturday Weezer will take the stage as well as Sublime, The Ditryheads, AM Taxi and more. Then, wrapping up the fun on Sunday, get your head banging to Distrubed, Halestorm, New Medicine, Airborne, Avenged Sevenfold and more. While you’re enjoying the music, be sure to visit the vendor booths where you’ll find a wide variety of food options, drinks, clothing and other artist merchandise.
There will be a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian food options to choose from. For the family you’ll find face painting, crafts and games to enjoy. Then, beat the heat under a mister shade and enjoy an ice cold drink.
Purchase your tickets for the Arizona Fall Frenzy Music Festival online or at the Marquee Theatre box office at the Tempe Beach Park. Ticket prices vary by date and you’ll get a $5 discount for purchasing your tickets in advance ($70-$80 each day). All ages are welcome at the festival, and children under the age of five are free with a paid adult. Festival times vary as well, depending on which day you plan to attend.
On Friday, Sept. 18 the gates open at 4p.m. and close at midnight. Then, on Saturday, Sept. 19 the fun begins at noon and ends at midnight. Finally, on Sunday, Sept. 20 finish off your festivities from 11 a.m. through 10 p.m.
In order to ensure your safety and that of other festival guests, there is a very strict policy against bringing in your own food, alcohol, glass containers, blankets, picnic baskets, weapons, drugs, fireworks, pets, professional cameras, strollers, bike and skateboards. The only things that you are allowed to bring in are two sealed one liter plastic water bottles, sunscreen and a small backpack. So, be sure to follow the guidelines, bring your tickets and have a blast at the Arizona Fall Frenzy Music Festival!
HelloTempe Tip: The Tempe Beach Park is conveniently located just off the Loop 202 west, exit Scottsdale Road. Parking in that area can be confusing and lots fill up fast. There are metered spots located throughout the neighboring downtown Tempe area and on Mill Avenue. However; the Lightrail is a great alternative—especially if you’re planning to drink. The Lightrail drops off one block from the main entrance at Mill Avenue and 3rd Street.
