St. Daniel the Prophet School Reviews

St. Daniel the Prophet is a wonderful school with many dedicated people who help the children flourish. The teachers, principal, priests, and parents help to give the school its warm, family friendly environment. Of course, the school is not perfect and cannot solve all of your problems! If you have a good student who will take advantage of a great educational environment, then he/she will do well. Like with an education anywhere in the world, you will get what you put into it. If education is important to you, then St. Daniel s is the place for you. My kids who are great students love it here. I have been very pleased with how hard the teachers work to give the students a challenging, quality curriculum. The only drawback is that the extracurricular activities are limited. However, my kids do sports outside of school so that has not been a problem.

My children came to St. Daniel's last year and have enjoyed the transition for their previous school. In contrast to previous posts, I have felt that the principal is very warm and supportive. She made us feel welcome at the school immediately. Although we ve had no problems, I am confidant that she would be available for us at all times. My only concern has been that there is not enough influence on mathematics. Regardless of the math issue, the teachers do seem to be highly qualified and dedicated. All in all, we're very pleased with the school and especially the parish and its wonderful pastor, Fr. McGuire. He and the other priests are a huge reason why we love our new parish and school.

The school has gone downhill. The teacher turnover has been detrimental to the academic standards in the school. Parent involvment is at an all time low because of principal/priest issues.

This school was great 7 or 8 years ago but now the children are treated like soldiers in a military academy. The principal doesn't seem to care about parents' opinions or concerns. In my opinion the academics have dropped to an all time low. There are no music, art or computer programs. The sports program is mediocre at best. The principal is doing a poor job dealing with a wide spread bullying problem. The parish and school administration has had such a negative effect on school families; I would not recommend this school to anyone. We will not pay money for such a poor quality of school any longer so this will be our last year.

My son has been going to this school for the past 4 yrs. He is non-Catholic, but the staff and teachers are wonderful to all! This school has stellar academics, very friendly and consiencious staff and small teacher/student ratios. Only drawback - no formal music ed and foreign language programs, but the staff is working to address this issue.

I would not hesitate to recommend this school. The teachers are excellent, classes are small, and we feel like part of a family.

This school limits children in their ability to perform and does not present a fair and proper discipline system and the student enrollment has dropped dramatically and the facilities are just disgusting for use please do not send your children to this school send them to anopther private scholl with better lives.

Wonderful safe, loving, Christian small school. Very high standardized test scores. Excellent teachers (most Masters level). Positive reinforcement discipline. Very supportive parent and church community.

This is Catholic education at its best!

I have a student who has went to this school and it was not the best school, but an ok school.
