So if you're looking for a fun three-day weekend getaway that can be stolen, here are some of the best places to visit while visiting our friends at Arizona State University.
If you want to do indoor activities with friends and family in Tempe, Arizona, visit the Sea Life Aquarium. There is plenty to do there, from a hike in Papago Park to a visit to Arizona State University to one of the many museums and galleries in downtown. Speaking of recreation, for those who live, go to school or live in Tempe, there are a number of great free activities. Whether you are here for a three-day weekend getaway or just for the first time since your # residence, visit and / or visit Arizona State University.
It is a fairly short and easy hike, but the views from the top of Mount A are quite impressive and you can see the city of Tempe, the Arizona State University campus and the Phoenix skyline. You can also get a free ride on the Orbit Earth Circulator, which runs through downtown Tempe and around Tempes Market Square. Once you arrive at the top, you have the option of staying at the bottom of Papago Park and then driving back to the parking lot to finish your journey.

The city of Phoenix is just two miles from the park, Arizona State University campus is one mile away and Scottsdale is just 20 minutes away, so you have time to hike, to name a few. If you want to take a trip, the Tempe - Phoenix light rail can take about an hour depending on your destination, or you can even walk from Old Scottingdale to the Phoenix Convention Center in about 5 minutes. Home to more than 2,000 acres of open space, Tempes is a great destination for hiking, biking, camping, hiking and camping.
The Tempe Town Lake Pedestrian Bridge is right next to the Tempe Center for the Arts, and several bike lanes run from Tempes, so if you're forgotten, you can always get to your destination on foot or by bike. On Mill Avenue and 3rd, simply buy a ticket at the kiosk and sit down as you move through the park. We haven't done enough shopping at Arizona Mills Mall, so next time we'll head to Tempe and hear about some of the great restaurants, bars, shops, restaurants and other attractions, and take time to visit Mill Ave District.
